HAPPY HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY TO MY DARLING JOANN.

AND HAPPY HAPPY 78TH BIRTHDAY TO MY DARLING GRANDPA! =)

My pay's goin to shrink next mth. =( *depression mode* I guess no more good food for the next couple of weeks.

Looking on the bright side. Oli has been really really nice. Brewerkz at Bt Timah was nice. There were many Caucasians. It felt as though I was in Europe. =) Haha… My burger was ok. At least nicer than Tuckshop. Oli’s Fish & Chip was quite boring. Nth special. We then realized what we had there was exactly the same as we had from Tuckshop some weeks ago. Haha… I’ll prefer Brewerkz more than Tuckshop. Even though the bill was slightly double of what we had in Tuckshop (prob cuz we had a 500 ml beer), but the fries at Brewerkz was perfect and that was what really matter. Plus the beer was fresh. =)

Both locations are pretty convenient. Brewerkz was less than a min away fr the bus stop. And Tuckshop was near Tanjong Pagar Mrt plus there were buses. Ambience wise, I’ll prefer Brewerkz. It’s really cozy. Even though Tuckshop has their own in-house dj mixing, but the feeling is just. Not too correct.

On Saturday, Oli and I attended the last installment of the running clinic at VJC organized by Standchart and 5thRay. After that, we went for our food hunt again, together with Huiyi and Zihao. Regina (who used to be from VJ) had recommended Ice Cream Chefs and The Cheesecake Café. So, since we are there, might as well go.

Our first stop, Ice Cream Chef. The Milo Peng & Kinder Bueno Ice Cream were both not bad. Plus there was a Kaya Lotee too! Not bad lar. Haha… Huiyi and Zihao had Strawberry and Mrs Smith (Apple) with Tim Tam. Not too bad. After that.

We went to The Cheesecake Café. I don’t quite find the cheesecake special. But the place is really nicely decorated. A really good place to chill out. Super artsy. We then headed to Feng Shan for proper dinner. Chai Chee Pork Porridge for me again. Nice! But then I realized that having desserts before dinner was a super bad idea. My tummy wasn’t feeling too well. =(

Today, we had breakfast at Chong Pang market. There were so many many nice foods. Yummy!

Then I went to Marina Barrage with my grandparents. Pretty bad exp. There was no direction as to where should we go or whatsoever. Plus there were so MANY rc ppl. And some of them are super duper mean. *Disgusted* In the end, we didn’t even know where to head to take the shuttle bus. And there were shelters for the many ppl from the various rc. And there weren’t any for the public. Thumbs down for this event. This is the third and final day. Shouldn’t it be the best?
